The Art of SHARON KANTOR

The picturesque art of Sharon Kantor is expressed through the professional figure and styles variety: from classic up to neo-impressionism, from surrealism up to expressionism. The artist differs by her spread-track mastechine, using a plenty of an art material and paints. She differs by the relief of spread-track which strengthens natural images, but it not seems heavy, and on the contrary gives impression of easiness and  musical and poetic harmony.
        In her artworks, the artist uses various materials, but recently uses acryl paints.
        At present, since May 31-st. of 2003, Sharon Kantor has a rank: the Honorary Member of the International Academy of Arts in the city of Rome. And also, she is the artist, who cooperating with the Department of the State Printing House of Italy: a department "Unique Arts".
       The Art of Sharon Kantor basically is characterized as the refined and delicate compositions of flowers in which shows the completeness and the cleanliness of forms. It is made active by force of color, by brightness of paints. It makes the perception of deepness of images stronger. Color-frequency variations transfer the prospect and the air in Kantor's artworks very precisely. Chromatic contrasts express as though "dance of color" which fills Sharon's painting by lyrical and romantic mood. And also, it makes the impression of sensation of smells fresh flowers, not drawn.
       One more distinctive characteristic of Sharon Kantor's artworks is an improbable ability of transfer by color of glass's transparency and subjects' materiality in her still-lifes, and also the play of light reflexes in water. The water landscapes of the artist with the image of the seas and lakes, the rivers and water-falls amaze with a beauty and variety: from quiet mirror display in water, up to a raging water-falls and grandness of overflowing waves on the sea. In these artworks, the beauty and harmony of rhythms of waves, forces of the storm sea, the reality of water - all these effects are felt. And if Sharon's flowers have aroma, Sharon's water seems realistic and wet. In landscapes, the beauty and light of the represented nature is precisely traced.
       In the naked natures, the artist does not try to show sexuality. She creates the beautiful noble and romantic image of the woman filled by an internal luminescence and charm.
       In summary, I shall tell you the core in all paintings of the artist, the fundament of her art (the flowers and the rivers, the lakes and the seas, feelings in the form of beautiful young women) is the inside light and poetry, which crossing space and the form in infinity.
